Social Awareness Programme
- Participation in Blood Donation Camp:
On the occasion of death anniversary of Sanjay Tompe & Sameer Deshmukh, on the college level Blood donation camp was arranged. Our students actively participated in it.
- Participation in Tree Plantation: Date 18/07/16
On the Institutional level, we arranged the Tree plantation Program; our students actively participate in it.
- Participation in Social Activities held at NSS camp at Nagarwadi:
Near about 50 Students from Physics Dept. Participated in N.S.S.Camp
- Participation in Cleanliness ride:
On the occasion of 15 August 2016, cleanliness ride program was arranged on the institutional level, our students actively participated in it.
- Participation in activities held by Gandhian Studies Centre:
For the session 2016-17 under the head of Gandhian Studies Centre an Elocution Competition was held on 21/09/16.
From our Dept. Ashwini Bodkhe from B.Sc.II got Second prize (Rs.301/-) & certificate.

- Participation in sports:
Our students actively Participated in sports also. One of our students Adesh Aahir & his Team got the first rank in Soft ball.
- Name of Activity: “Long Tour: Kokan”
Date: 31/01/2016 to 05/02/2016
A long tour was arranged for B.Sc. students by Dr. D. R. Bijwe from Physics Department along with other science faculty members. Total 45 students were accompanied by 05 escorts. The following places are visited during the tour. Lonawala, Khandala, Alibaug, Murud, Janjira Fort, Dive-Agar, Flora and Fauna of Matheran, Snake Park and Katraj Garden at Pune. Here students have given opportunity to remain close with nature to know their responsibility and how nature plays a crucial role in human life. Students learned that Conservation of Biodiversity is very important and must given first priority of the current time. Students also learned planning and management during their visit and stay at various places.
